KAVON International, Inc. announces the certification of Specialty Lubricants Corporation to the ISO 9001:2000 standard.

Chardon, Ohio -- Wednesday, December 21, 2005: KAVON International, Inc. is pleased to announce that one of its clients, Specialty Lubricants Corporation, located in Twinsburg, Ohio, has achieved certification to the ISO 9001:2000 quality management system standard. They received their certification on November 29, 2005 from QMI. During a flag ceremony on December 21, 2005, Frank Novak (KAVON International President) and John Novak (KAVON Vice President) presented an ISO 9001:2000 flag to Specialty Lubricants Corporation's Chief Executive Officer, Robin Bugenske.

KAVON International, Inc. consultants assisted Specialty Lubricants Corporation in the identification of its processes, preparation of their ISO 9001:2000 documentation, and the training of their employees.

SPECIALTY LUBRICANTS Corp. has been marketing lubricants since 1979. Their California sister company, HUSK-ITT Corporation, has been manufacturing lubricants since 1944. Their present product line of industrial lubricants is sold under the HUSKEY brand, and marketed through Industrial and Bearing Distributors. Their SLIPKOTE brand is marketed for Automotive OEM and Aftermarket Sales.

SPECIALTY LUBRICANTS Corp. expanded into custom packaging of lubricants after they discovered that there was a void in quality packaging for private labeling. At this time, they also started producing portion pouches. The Lube-Pak?, as it was later coined, has become our most popular custom package to date for lubricants and other liquid and semi-solid products. Its most common uses are for service repair kits and sampling programs.

Their lubricants forte, as their name implies, is specialty lubricants that take over where the finest oils and greases leave off. Both the HUSKEY and SLIPKOTE brand lubricants are designed as problem-solving lubricants, specially engineered to handle the most extreme lubrication conditions, such as high loads, high and low temperatures, water wash-out, chemical attack, and hydrodynamic lubrication starvation. They utilize all available technologies which include pure and semi-synthetics, highly refined mineral oils, specialized polymers, chemical additives, and boundary lubricants (natural EP agents) such as Molybdenum Disulfide, Graphite and Teflon. In Packaging:
SPECIALTY LUBRICANTS Corp.'s Custom Packaging Plant provides a complete packaging service that is supported with sophisticated filling equipment to handle various liquids, greases, and other semi-solid products. Our packaging lines are designed to handle bottles, jars, squeeze tubes, syringes, cartridges and portion pouches (Lube-Paks).
