A group of employees working at Altronic, Inc., located in Girard, Ohio, completed their training on INTERNAL PROCESS AUDITING conducted by John Novak of KAVON International, Inc. on January 17, 2008. Their training will be used to support Altronic’s ISO 9001:2000 certification.
During the training sessions, the concept of a process was introduced along with the four key components (inputs, activities, outputs, and measures). Techniques on how to audit each of these components were presented along with forms for documenting the findings.
Actual audits were conducted after the classroom training was completed in order apply what was learned. The emphasis throughout the training was that the internal auditing process must add value to the organization in order to be useful.
