The above pictured employees at Compco Industries, located in Columbiana, Ohio, recently completed training to become Internal Auditors on May 18, 2005. The class conducted by KAVON International, Inc. taught the students how to audit their ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System using the process approach.
Compco Industries is the leading international producer of quality ASME and DOT code tank heads and other cold-formed metal products for the pressure vessel industry. Compco's tank heads and custom-fabricated stampings are used in such diverse products as air receivers, propane tanks, water heaters, engine silencers, refrigerant and cryogenic tanks.
Compco was founded in 1954 by Clarence Smith, Sr. and Martin Poschner. In its 50-year history, Compco has grown to include two major facilities in Youngstown and Columbiana, Ohio, with total factory premises comprising 160,000 square feet.
