On June 22 2002, a group of SIVACO Georgia employees successfully completed the course, INTERNAL AUDITING: Mini-Audits for Maximum Results. John Novak, from KAVON International, Inc., conducted the course.
The basic concepts of internal auditing were introduced during the course, while stressing the importance of auditing to SIVACO in upgrading its registration to ISO 9001:2000. The students were educated on their role as auditors and the key role that they play in improving the Quality Management System at SIVACO. They also participated in a number of exercises that reinforced the concepts being taught.
