On May 21, 2002, a group of Bracketry Systems, Inc. (located in Fort Worth, Texas) employees successfully completed the course, INTERNAL AUDITING: Mini-Audits for Maximum Results. John Novak, from KAVON International, Inc, conducted the course.
During the course, the students were introduced to the concept of internal auditing and its importance in achieving ISO 9001:2000 registration. They also gained an appreciation of how internal auditing will help keep all of their processes in control and get the employees involved in all aspects of the business.
Bracketry Systems, Inc. was incorporated in January 1992. Their initial challenge was to design, produce, and provide brackets in kit form to the engine driven refrigeration industry that would allow them to install a second engine driven compressor while leaving the factory air conditioning in place. They expanded its product line to include accessory and multiple accessory brackets for the bus industry, the limousine industry, and the emergency vehicle industry and have now developed in excess of 400 kits that cover approximately 1000 applications.
Bracketry Systems, Inc. is seeking registration to the ISO 9001:2000 quality standard.
