On April 18, 2002, a group of Brainard Rivet Company employees successfully completed a course in Statistical Process Control. Tony Franceschini, from KAVON International, Inc., conducted the course.
During this course, the students were introduced to the basic concepts of statistical process control and how it can be used to monitor processes and critical product characteristics in its manufacturing operation. They also learned about the various types of control charts, what they are, how they are used, how to collect the data, and how to interpret the results in order to take action to affect change.
Brainard Rivet Company is an Employee-Owned Company (ESOP) that manufactures Small Rivets, Large Rivets, Shoulder Rivets, Drilled Products, Knurled Pins, Grooved Pins and Special Shaved Fasteners for the General Metalworking, Distributor, Farm, Railroad and Auto/Truck Industries.
