Topic: Living and Working in Space: How the shuttle was used to build the International Space Station and what life is really like on the space station and the shuttle.
Jim provides oversight of facilities operations where he is involved with task management and quality assurance of contractor work for maintenance and repair activities. He joined the staff of the NASA’s John H. Glenn Research Center at Lewis Field (GRC)] as an apprentice electronics technician and became a journeymen. Simek earned a Master of Business Administration degree (Quantitative Business Analysis – statistics) in 1990 from Cleveland State. He served in the U. S. Air Force as a Radio Maintenance Technician and in the Air Force Reserve for 29 years as a supervisor, superintendent and was a Configuration Control Manager for the Air Intelligence Agency as a Chief Master Sergeant. He is also a part-time electronics, math and physics instructor. |
