Technical Session

"Practical 5S Applications" will be presented by Stephanie Demyan.

Stephanie Demyan is a senior member of ASQ and Director of Quality, Technical & Regulatory for KIK Custom Products. KIK Custom Products is the leading aerosol contract filler in North America filling personal, household, and pharmaceutical products. Stephanie has a Chemical engineering degree from Tri-State University and an MBA from Kent State .. She is a CQA and CQIA within ASQ. She has over 25 years in the quality field with extensive auditing and continuous improvement experience.

This Technical session entitled "Practical 5S Applications", will focus on the practical application of 5S that results in an improvement to the bottom line of the business. After sharing common definitions of 5S, this session will demonstrate a practical 5S application that can used in nearly all businesses including service industries. The Technical Session will begin at 5:00pm at Polaris and will receive .3 RU toward recertification. Member Meeting

The Member Meeting at 7PM will feature Agent Darren J. Mott of the FBI. Darren J. Mott is the Supervisory Special Agent (SSA) of the Cyber Crime Squad of the Cleveland Division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. SSA Mott has been an FBI Special Agent since 1999 and has been involved in Cyber Investigations since that time. SSA Mott was promoted to FBI Headquarters in 2007 and headed up the Cyber Division's Russian and Eurasian Organized Cyber Crime Initiative prior to being promoted to Supervisor in the Cleveland Division in February 2009. SSA Mott holds a Bachelor's and Master's Degree from the State University of New York at Potsdam.
