Technical Session:
"Demystifying Capability Indexes"
All capability indexes have one thing in common, the voice of the customer (tolerances) and the voice of the process (data studies). Additionally, they have requirements such as:
- Capable Measurement Systems
- Free of Special Causes
- Normally Distributed Distributions (Symmetrical)
This presentation will give the essentials of Capability Studies. We will achieve understanding of Capability Indexes and the problems encountered when the data is not normally distributed or contains Special Causes. There are remedies for these conditions that will be covered.
