 One of the major requirements of ISO 9001:2000, ISO 16949/QS-9000, AS9100B, ISO 14000, ISO 13485, and many of the Quality Management System standards is conducting periodic formal QMS management reviews. The purpose of these reviews is to provide a vehicle for an organization’s top management to stay abreast of the QMS status and any issues that arise. In some companies, especially smaller ones, there may not be a defined management group or the management group may not be familiar with how to conduct such meetings independent of routine production and business meetings.
KAVON can assist in training and facilitating these mandatory type reviews by providing the structure, agenda, and QMS areas to be reviewed, and by generating the documentation records required for ISO/TS/QS/AS compliance. We can provide input at these reviews, especially if KAVON was contracted to perform some of the required tasks, i.e. internal auditing, customer satisfaction, supplier surveys, etc.. We can provide management review program assistance on an as-needed or temporary basis, until the management group becomes familiar and comfortable with the process, or we can become an on-going advisory participant. |
